Our small but dedicated team in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, designs and crafts high-quality wooden maps with care and precision.
And while some business say they're like a family, a portion of our staff is–quite literally–family!
It all started with MapCuts founder, Matt Celek–a brother, son, cousin, husband, nephew, and son-in-law to others on the team.

How MapCuts started
MapCuts began as a gift–a wooden map of Cuyahoga Falls for my brother's Florida home.
I loved every step, from designing to cutting and staining it in my backyard workshop.
When I saw my brother's reaction, I knew I had to do this for others.
Soon after, MapCuts was born, and my brother joined as our lead designer.
How it's going
Every day, I'm reminded of what our maps mean to people. We've received so may heartfelt emails, photos, and videos from customers sharing their stories.
I'm grateful for their support and for the family and team members who have joined us along the way.
