While some businesses talk about being like a family, a large portion of our staff is, quite literally, family!

Based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, our small yet dedicated team of designers and craftworkers collaborate to deliver wooden maps of superior quality.

How it started

MapCuts started when I wanted to give my brother a personalized wooden map of our hometown, Cuyahoga Falls, to hang in his Florida home.

I loved the entire process, from designing a custom map to cutting, assembling, and staining it in my backyard woodshop.

After seeing his emotional reaction, I knew I wanted to do this for other people. Soon after, MapCuts was born, and my brother jumped on board as the company's primary map designer.

How it’s going

Today, I'm continually reminded of what our maps mean to people. We've received countless heartfelt emails, photos, and videos thanking us. I'm grateful to our customers for their support and to my family and other staff members who have joined the team as we continue to grow.
